I Lose My Passport

The Baggage and Personal Effects benefit provides coverage for fees associated with the replacement of Your passport and visas which are lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed during Your Trip. *


If you lose your passport:


  1. Contact the 24/7 assistance line located on the back of your card. They will direct you to the nearest embassy to obtain a new passport.
  2. Make sure to save all documents and receipts for the expenses you incur to replace your passport.
  3. When you get home, report your claim here. Our staff will follow up with you within 24 business hours with instructions to file a claim.
