The Trip Delay benefit provides coverage for additional lodging, meals, and local transportation if your trip is delayed for 12 or more hours. *
If your trip is delayed:
- Make sure to save all of your receipts for the expenses you incur due to the delay.
- Get a statement from the airline documenting the delay. (This can usually be requested through the Customer Service page of the airline’s website.)
- When you get home, report your claim here. Our staff will follow up with you within 24 business hours with instructions to file a claim.
